Marsala - Trending colour of 2015

Colour trend - Marsala

Because of its burnished undertones , Marsala colour can be blended and paired with neutrals as well as warm colours like apricot and golden Ochre. 

 Marsala, a naturally robust and earthy wine red, as the Color of the Year for 2015.

Marsala will look great on Indian skin tones and can be paired beautifully with our favourite metal Gold .

This exuberant, yet stylish tone is globally appealing and translates easily to fashion, beauty, industrial design, home furnishings and interiors.

 The poignant, full-bodied qualities of Marsala makes for an elegant statement color when the color is used on its own or as a mesmeric accent when paired with many other colors.

Jackie wears and pairs in the colour in right proportions . A subtle shine of leather combined with matte fabric finish . The silhouette is great for her inverted triangle frame . Minimum accessory look lends elegance to the total look  

Here is an example of too much of colour , that too with lustrous textures . Shilpa stylists could have paired it with a matte/ different colour bodice as she really does not requires a monotone combo because of her tall and slender frame. An unexpected element of colour /accessory/make-up could have saved the look
